Chicago owned Edmonton tonight, I mean the score should have 6-1 instead of 3-1 but Roli played great and kept it close.  It was such a frustrating game to watch when Edmonton just lost every puck battle and every race to the puck.. well except for the 4th line who generated by far the most chances.  Dustin Penner really fit in well with Stortini and Brodziak and I would not be surprised to see that line stay together for a few games, kind of reminded me of late last season with Glencross on the line with Stortini and Brodziak.

I don’t think its a secret how I feel about MacT but in an interview tonight Tambellini stated that he supports MacT and is impressed with the coaching to this point of the season. So instead wasting this space calling for the team to fire the coach I’m going to give the coach some advice on how to win some hockey games. You need to start by making a lineup that makes sense and sticking with the lines, let them make mistakes and grow and build chemistry.  Here is my suggestion:

Give it a shot eh… you never know.

I have never seen the Edmonton Oilers play so inconsistently in my life, they can be dominant in one game and harmless the next, so whats the cause? Sorry MacT you cant blame Penner this time, he played great on the 4th line.
