Stop talking about trading Hemsky… its ridiculous. Jim Matheson must be pretty bored to be sitting around thinking up situations in which the Edmonton Oilers would trade away their best offensive player at a time when they need more offense.  I mean come on man Hemsky has the best contract on the team and is the best player and you want to start talk of trading him? I just don’t get it.

Jaromir Jagr has said that if he comes back to the NHL after next season he would like to sign with the Edmonton Oilers… thanks, but no thanks.  Don’t get me wrong, I think Jagr is a great player and I really would have like to see him come to the Oilers this past season but lets face it by the 2010 season when Jagr becomes available there will be no room on the Oilers for a player at his age.
